On the rare occasion that a helicopter comes to the island to drop supplies or people, the kids run to greet it by waving, smiling and yelling for joy.

That one little guy to the right scared the heck out of me when he started to run right at it before it landed.

The boy wearing the #16 jersey is such a great and funny kid. Amazing smile and such warmth in his heart. His name is Jordan. I have nicknamed him “Michele Jordan.” He laughs every time I say it. I wonder if he even knows who Michael Jordan is?

To the real Michele Jordan… I you ever read this you should meet this boy, I know you would be impressed.
