On my travel day today I drove past a cock fighting farm. There were over a thousand individual small huts for each rooster to live. On the farm they are feed and trained and watched by four security guards 24 hours a day. Cocks in this particular farm sell for 10,000 to 15,000 pesos. (Around $300 US). Filipinos also refer to the birds as game foul.
