Earlier I posted a image of a lion that that was one of the most amazing lion images I have ever seen in my life! Under the image I put the words too good to be true? Sadly, I don’t know if it was a real image or not but, it knew whoever created it was a master!

The image so inspired me and seemed to embody my friend @mumbi_ginger that when she asked me to take a portrait of her, I knew I had to photograph her holding the lion image.

At the time I took Ginger’s portrait, I didn’t realize how powerful, caring, graceful and dedicate Ginger was, however, to me she conveyed the same powers of a lioness. When I saw her admire the lion image on the wall, I could see there was a relationship. The moment I put lion image in her hands, I could “feel” a connection between the two!

Yesterday was International Women’s Day and to me Ginger is one of the most impressive women/people I have ever had the good fortune to meet in my life. What Ginger and her staff at the Kenya Children Fund have done for the children at Kinyago-Dandora is awe inspiring and something I will never forget!

Thank you Ginger for teaching me and Nancy @watts_of_love all that you did! We can’t wait to work with you again and are so happy to have you in our lives!
