After receiving his new @wattsoflove head lamp, this boy climbed up a 35 foot coconut tree barefoot to get me a coconut to say “salamat.” The coconut juice tasted amazing on the 100° day and I was reminded again as he climbed with such ease, that we white boys will forever remain vertically challenged. 🙂
After living his entire life by burning dangerous and expensive kerosene, this man is can be seen blowing out the last kerosene torch that he will ever use!
How dangerous are these kerosene torches?
They have the same explosive abilities as a Molotov cocktail used in conflicts and wars!

In every window of the small community building we set up in to distribute 400 @wattsoflove solar lights, those that we couldn’t help watched for hours and went away empty handed.
It’s always so difficult to know that some will not receive. #givelight, #bethechange, #theydeservebetter.
Thank you to those who have supported me and Watts of Love. Your help truly makes a huge impact!
Despite how the weapons and ammunition looked on these soldiers that were positioned around us during on our last solar light drop with @wattsoflove, many of these men were so moved by “our mission” that several of them put their weapons down and joined us as interetpers and assistants.
It was a truly amazing moment and confirmation to me again that the when the human spirit is moved with compassion it can change the world for good!
I will never forget these brave men or their willingness to help those in need.
